Reach for the Stars!! Fundraiser

Reach For The Stars!! is a pledge-based reading incentive program that works like a read-a-thon. We put books into the hands of students and reward them for reading. At the same time, it provides the school, preschool, or organization cash and/or books.

What is the goal of the program?
The goal of Reach for the Stars!! is for the children to read, or be read to for 300 minutes over a two week period of time. This is an average of 30 minutes per weekday as recommended by educational experts.

Who can participate?
This program is designed to benefit any organizational group, such as schools, individual classrooms, clubs, preschools, church groups, youth groups, homeschool groups, charities, businesses, and public libraries.

How does the program work?
Parents and children ask friends, family, people they know (NO door-to-door), to sponsor them and encourage them in their daily reading by pledging any amount. Ask your organization if corporate sponsors are available.

How do the kids benefit?
They develop the important habit of daily reading! They receive Usborne books and other prizes for participating! The Reach for the Stars program helps children discover the joy of reading and gives them the opportunity to choose their very own Usborne books to keep!

How can your organization benefit?

  • Minimum 100% return on student pledges – in form of books and/or cash!
  • We do all the work – Hassle Free – just choose your free bookss
  • Earn free award winning educational books of your choice from over 1800 Usborne and Kane/Miller titles for classrooms and libraries!
  • Kids earn free books of their choice too – so excitement about reading extends beyond the program dates!
